Sponsorship
Sponsoring an animal in our shelter is one of the most beneficial ways to help us. You may sponsor 1 or more animals.
If you are interested in "sponsoring" an animal, let us know! We'll be glad to indicate on our website and on the cage of the animal that you are sponsoring him/her. The animal's adoption fee may be reduced, but we will be able to use the adoption fee to help the next animal instead of simply covering a portion of our cost on this animal. Your donated funds will go directly to pay the costs of feeding and providing veterinary care to that specific animal.
The average sponsorship is $40. If it is uner $20 we consider i to be a donation. Anything over 25.00 we will indicate ont he website you are sponsoring that animal and we will put a sponsorship certificate outside of the animals cage.
Our average cost to provide care for animals varies with every single animal that comes into our shelter because some come to us injured, sick, deitary problems and need special food, some are pregnant, and of course the all to familiar emaciation, etc. Donations made to sponsor an animal can either be made online (paypal) or can be mailed to 306 East 14th Street Pawhuska,OK 74056.
If the sponsorship is made via paypal please click the donation link on the home page and while filling out how much you want to sponsor the animal there is a comment box in place for you. In this comment box please state the animals name or ID#. you will be noified within the next 3 days from Hughs Pet Adoption.
